Born and raised in a suburb outside of Boston, Massachusetts, I went to college in Rhode Island where Narragansett Brewing lured me into the world of craft beer!

After graduation, I found myself living back home (thanks student loans!) and looking for fun places to hang out with my friends. This also happened to be the same time that breweries seemed to be popping up all over the Boston area and I just loved the vibe, trying new brews and a chill, casual place to hang out with friends. 

In February 2017, after a trip to Portland, ME packed with breweries and overwhelming my iPhone's camera roll with beer photos, @BostonBeerGirl was born! Little did I know there was a whole craft beer community on Instagram and I would meet some amazing people who would quickly become good friends. 

I use my platform to promote Massachusetts and New England craft beers and breweries, small businesses and badass women in and tangential to the craft beer industry (it is an incredibly male-dominated industry). 

The craft beer industry is something like I've never experienced before - where else do you see seemingly competing businesses collaborating, helping each other out and rooting for one another?! Nowhere!
